About the role
The Founding Headmaster leads the academic, cultural, and spiritual life of Chesterton Academy of Jacksonville. Working with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, the Headmaster leads the academic program, cultivates Catholic identity, develops faculty, supports students, hires founding faculty, and establishes school culture and traditions rooted in the classical liberal arts and Catholic education.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in Leadership 1-5 years.
- Advanced degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Theology, or related field strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with educational regulations.
- As a condition of employment, all employees must take the Oath of Fidelity and affirm commitment to uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church in accordance with the Magisterium.
- Nice to have: Classical Education 3-5 years, Academic Administration 3-5 years, Catholic Education 3-5 years.
